Audience Feedback (Media Class) - Rough cut

As a whole class, we decided to conduct a music video screening for each group in order to take notes for feedback. Showing our rough cut to the class, different groups/individuals gave us an overall rating of good use of transition, performance, lip syncing, camera work and pace & feel. Above are the responses that we have taken from our peers in the lesson.

SUMMARY

What was especially good about the clip?
The majority of the class enjoyed the visuals of the music video, the story-line of the narrative scene, and many of the shots used such as the smoke bomb and projection. They also mentioned how they found the music video interesting especially the story line.

Would you watch this again?
Most of the people in our class would like to watch our music video again; to summarize their responses the majority of them found the clips enticing, interesting and had enjoyed the narrative scene.

Did you notice any serious issues such as continuity errors, strange edits etc. - Did anything not make sense to you?
Everyone in the class were slightly confused with the concept of the chest and its smoke coming out. Others also noticed that there was something a bit off with the lip syncing; we will look over the clip and tweak the part in order to make the lip sync accurate as possible. But overall, again, the class responded to the music video well.

What would you suggest to improve in the video and how?
In summary, the whole class suggested that we should work on the colour gradient more to make sure that it looks cinemtic and effective in order to attract viewers and audience. To improve this, my group and I decided to concentrate on the colour grading of the music video to achieve the  look that we are looking for.
