Treatment Feedback (01/11/16)

During our Media lesson, we discussed our Treatment as a class giving each other feedback.

As we got to discuss my groups' treatment, the class has given us similar ideas on what to improve with our treatment which was to 'add another location when shooting our music video'. As a group, we ended up discussing about where the added location will be filmed and how it can be related to the context of our production. Our peers, including the teacher approve of our narrative within the story-line of our music video. This shows us that we will enable to keep our target audience engaged with the chosen theme, genre and concept for our music video.

During our discussions and feed backs, we were given questions which are the following:

How long have you given yourself to shoot the footage? Have you considered weather?

  • We have thought about what the weather is going to be like as it is very unpredictable due to the current season; before filming in the main location that will be used throughout the music video (Richmond park), we will have to make sure that the weather is appropriate for filming. Depending on the situation that could occur, the crew and cast will make sure that we make the most out of filming until we're pleased with the footage.

How will the video be split?
  • The ratio of the narrative and performance scene will be split into half, we were thinking of doing an equal amount of the shots as it will make the music video look more professional.

How many performers will you need and will they be reliable?
  • As a group, we planned that we will have seven characters who have agreed to be filmed on camera. Asking for permission, we also did some planning on everyone's availability for when we do the production part. Having formal consent, our performers will be reliable throughout our production.
